Part 1. Advisory Committee.

The president of a college or university may appoint a local advisory committee to advise the president and to promote the programs and activities of the college or university.

Part 2. Appointments.

Initial members shall be appointed by the college or university president. The president, working with the committee, will also establish terms of office and insure regular rotation among the advisory committee members.

Part 3. Responsibilities.

Each committee shall assume responsibility for promoting and securing support for college and university programs and services and for advising the president about ways in which programs and services can be responsive to the needs of students and to the service area, as well as other purposes as defined by the president.
