ST. LOUIS 鈥 The name鈥檚 still there on the roof, in 40-foot letters. But don鈥檛 call it the Edward Jones Dome.
The St. 亚洲无码 Convention & Visitors Commission, which runs the facility, has decided that the former home of the St. 亚洲无码 Rams on Friday becomes 鈥淭he Dome at America鈥檚 Center.鈥

The contract was signed in 2002. The firm paid more than $32 million over 14 years for the rights.
The company paid the Rams directly; the convention commission, a public agency, received no cut.
The Rams had until Thursday to get the giant lettering off the roof and signs down from the building, inside and out.
Instead, Edward Jones agreed to remove the various placards and charge the Rams no more than $500,000.
Edward Jones representatives met with convention officials a couple of weeks ago.
Tony Paraino, communications director for the convention commission, said a sign company is preparing a proposal for Edward Jones, to be approved by convention officials.Paraino declined to further discuss the delay in removing the signs.
John Boul, Jones鈥 manager of global media relations, later said the company is expecting a proposal 鈥渁ny day now.鈥
鈥淭he hope would be to have all the signage down by early summer,鈥 he said. 鈥淲e鈥檒l work with the Rams and the CVC to make sure they鈥檙e comfortable with the process.鈥
