ST. LOUIS — A 38-year-old driver was injured when he was shot by another motorist on Interstate 44/55 just south of downtown Monday afternoon, police said.
The victim drove himself to a hospital and was treated for a minor gunshot wound and released, police said.
The man told police he was northbound on the highway approaching Park Avenue about 2:45 p.m. when he saw two cars moving erratically behind him.
The driver of one car stuck a pistol out a window and fired several shots, the man said. The man said he felt a pain and realized he had been shot in the arm. Police did not release the victim's name.Â
