NORMANDY — A man here was charged after a toddler was shot in the abdomen on Saturday.
Jeremiah Woods was in a living room alone with the two-year-old when the shooting happened, police wrote.Â
He's charged with endangering the welfare of a child and is accused of leaving the gun within reach of the child.
Normandy Capt. John Beekman told the Post-Dispatch on Monday morning he could not confirm who fired the shot that hit the toddler.
The child was seriously injured, police wrote.
Woods was booked into the St. ÑÇÖÞÎÞÂë County jail Saturday morning and is being held on a $75,000 bond.
